What's on - Weekly

With due regard for the ongoing CoronaVirus situation, and following government recommendations, the Management Committee has been advised that the Hall can now re-open for business in a limited way.

While many of our regular events are still suspended, we are now able to host some of them again. Watch this space!



Main Hall:

6:00-6:45pm and 7:00-7:45pm - B-Elite Family Martial Arts classes - First month taster sessions are currently free!


Committee Room:

7:00pm (Aprox. every 6 weeks) - Parish Council meetings (see Parish Council notices or website for details)         

8:00pm (1st Monday of each month) - Management Committee meetings. (AGM in June).



Main Hall:

2:00-4:00pm - Short Mat Bowls - Come and give it a try.- Currently Suspended

7:00pm - Bingo - Eyes Down at 7:00. Cash prizes and everyone welcome. Refreshments currently not available.

10:00-11:00am - Keep Fit / Cardio Rehab with Sian.- Sorry all places currently full

7:15pm (2nd Wednesday of the month) - Women's Institute Events - We are a lively group of ladies of all ages and

             we meet monthly to enjoy fun and friendship with a very varied programme of speakers and activities.

            - Meetings restarting in August, but you are welcome to come to our Tea Party on the 14th July

Committee Room:

7:30-10:00pm - Craft Club - At the moment most of our members are into needlecrafts of all kinds, including patchwork, quilting, embroidery, cross stitch, knitting, crotchet and beadwork. We also enjoy trying any new craft, some more successfully than others! - Currently Suspended



Car Park

11:30am - 12:20pm - Monthly Mobile Library   - Running

Every fourth Friday, the Somerset Library Bus visits the Village Hall Car Park for 50 minutes from 11:30pm to 12:20pm.

It carries a selection of books, novels, large print books, books for children and audio books. You can also borrow DVDs on request.

The staff regularly refresh the stock with material from other libraries.

To use the mobile library service, you must be a member of Somerset Libraries. You can join by filling in a membership form and bringing some proof of your name and current address, such as a recent utility bill or a driving licence. We will issue you a membership card, which you can use in any Somerset library. If you already have a Somerset library membership card, please show this to the staff.
